Modern and urban with bohemian,
art deco influences
Palisociety hotel group just opened its fourth Los Angeles hotel (besides hotels in Miami Beach, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, …), an existing 49-room hotel located in the Westside of LA. The property opened as the West End Hotel in the 1920s. It was rumored to be the first LA residence of Joan Crawford.
Today, Palihotel Culver City is a boutique urban hotel designed for creative travelers of all ages coming to visit this iconic part of Los Angeles soaked in movie making history and in the midst of a dynamic modern-day renaissance. Palihotel has reimagined this historic building to embody a sense of history and the sense of uncovering of a hidden gem.
The art deco-style exterior of the hotel was restored and its interiors were renovated to reflect “modern and urban with bohemian, art-deco influences.” The rooms feature jewel tones in blue and green with stripe, plaid, and floral patterns.
Palihotel Culver City became a dynamic mix of common and private spaces, furniture, objects, lighting and finishes from different eras to reflect a sense of unconventionality and freedom.
